Online Banking Account Deletion Policy
This policy governs the deletion of your AMOCO Federal Credit Union (“AMOCO”) online banking account. AMOCO permits members to request the deletion of your online banking account and associated data in accordance with Google Play Store and Apple Store requirements.
Important Disclosures
By requesting the deletion of your AMOCO online banking account, you understand and agree to the following:
- Your online banking account, profile, and settings will be deleted, and you will not be able to access online banking services online or with our mobile application. You must re-enroll in online banking services to access your account(s) online.
- You will not be able to access your account statements online, including past statements, documents, and/or records. If you have opted-in to receive electronic statements, documents, and/or records, your preferences will be changed to receiving paper documents, which may result in a fee as provided in our Consumer Fee Schedule.
- Any activity you previously set up within online banking or our mobile application will be deleted. This includes any alert(s), Bill Pay payments and payee information, scheduled one-time or recurring transfers, and the history for any of these services.
- Your AMOCO financial account(s) and/or loan(s) will remain open and unaffected.

Data Deletion and Retention
As a financial institution, we may be required by law to retain certain information for regulatory compliance, security purposes, or fraud prevention. Examples of information we are required to keep include, but are not limited to, transaction history, access information, and your personally identifiable information which includes your name, email address, and phone number. We will retain your information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and our Records Retention Policy. However, we may retain your information beyond the limits provided by our Records Retention Policy due to legal and regulatory requirements or in response to a regulatory examination, audit, investigation, subpoena, or other legal matter. These requirements also apply to our third-party service providers.
